Baroque Music

In the Early Baroque Period from 1600-1685 the rhythem of music was more metrical with aired motion that people would do dancelike movements to it like swaying, but not actually dancing because was not costume at the time. The melody that songs came in had dramatic and affective quality as the instruments performed these rhythms. The from of Baroque music was put into four sections and produced sounds of strophic variations. Form the transition from the Early Baroque to the High Baroque Period was a big change. In the High Baroque Period the music became widely instrumental and lyrical. They still had the same stander melody, but they leveled it out throughout the instruments. The harmony was more functional to give a stronger effect through deep parts. Baroque music became stronger and more popular throughout the years of the Renaissance.
